Mahan Air was founded in 1991 in the Iranian city of Kerman. The first flight took place in may 1992. And in 1999 Mahan Air received the first Airbus planes of the type A300 and A310.


The airline flies on the international routes with a reliable fleet of Airbus and Boeing. More than 2000 personnel makes sure every day that Mahan Air can work according to the highest demands.


Safety has the highest priority with Mahan Air. The airline has his own training center and flight simulator in the hometown Kerman.


Mahan Air is flying to a growing amount of destinations. In Iran the airline flies from Tehran to more than 10 cities. Internationally Mahan Air visits more than 20 destinations in 10 countries.


Mahan Air is member of the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Mahan Air has received the IOSA (International Operation Safety Audit) certificate from the IATA.
